BER might be finished
BER might be finishedAccording to their application for the permit modification they stated the following....
"In summary, BER is requesting a modification to the existing exploration permit. BER believes a modification is appropriate because the criteria for evaluation, as outlined in NMAC 19.10.4.406.C, have been satisfied. Based on evaluation of existing data and data recently collected as part of the permitting process, BER believes it has demonstrated that granting the modification will not have an environmental impact, as defined in NMAC 19.1 0.4.406.C."
Do we assume that the # 4 and # 5 drills are complete and all the holes are plugged already? The evaluation has been satisfied. That sound like a good comment.
In their original application it states the following.........
"The permittee shall conduct drilling and reclamation operations as described in this permit and the approved PAP and any subsequent modifications or revisions approved by the director pursuant to 19.10.4.406 NMAC."
So this modification could be after the fact. So how long does it take for the results to come forth? Does anyone know. Based on the first 3 it should be out by now. Is that correct?
BER must of found that drill # 5 was a good one because almost all of the 19 drills applied for are surrounding number 5. As well if you look at the application most of these drills are almost in the exact spot or within a few feet of the original 1960 government drills. So either they want to prove that the original spots are correct as discovered in 1960 or BER is concentrating on DH5 because they hit what they were looking for. They are asking for approval to drill DH5 to 3,500'. Perhaps they found a heavy concentration of Be. Who knows. Trying to read in between the lines. Cheers.
Drill hole 5 must be a winner.
I think the black dots were the 1960 drills. If they hit in 1960 then I guess we should hit as well unless the original data was bogus and I doubt that. I hope they are not just trying to use the 1960 data to satisfy us. That seems to be the easy route. Most likely they found the load they were looking for. can't wait for the data on well 5. Cheers.
