I love hearing other opinions on the different scenarios that could play out. Right now IFR is a speculation play, and if something materializes, then I may change my outlook.
I too agree that Pat should take his time and make sure everything is confidential. I have no problem waiting another month, but for the market to hear nothing, not even a corp update before year end financials would be a HUGE mistake IMO. For an exploration stage company to announce nothing in between financial statements would be bad. Basically we have paid for management to sit in the office, have our assets depreciate, and no shareholder value being created. Hell, an updated presentation, discussion on MVP (how it could impact IFRs properties), drilling plans, ANYTHING to keep the market in the game before big news would be a good move in my books.
I have a ton of respect for Pat and the way he stuck out the recession and now look at the balance sheet, amazing.
PS, If you dont want to speculate, don't, no one is forcing you too. I am trying to keep everyone engaged because I find another positive bit of info about this company on a weekly basis because of this BB.
Also Ferret, do you want to pay me 100K/yr as well as 500K options to sit around for a year? To reiterate my point, I have no problem with Pat playing hard ball with another company (to not overpay) & not rush a deal, but lots could be going on if it doesnt look like something will materialize in the next 30 days (Because its already been 1.5 months since the NEB announcement). Time = money
