Sorry I missed your question before.  It's difficult to have a set strategy when juniors like PDG are news driven.  It is simply a case of analysing the fundamentals and weighing the risks at a particular time.  I tend to do this more seriously when news is expected in the next month or so but of course it is the unexpected news that moves juniors.
My strategy with juniors overall is not to consider them long term investments and always have a stop loss.  With PDG in particular I have saved a lot by hitting my stop loss and then buying back many more shares for the same cost but PDG has been a loser for me overall and I don't see a reason to reinvest here yet.
