RE: RE: RE: Silicon numbersFrom what I can tell, it appears that silicon for metallurgy and chemical end-use, as well as ferro-silicone for steel making, account for the largest consumption of silicon worldwide. The semi-conductor (polycrystalline silicon) end-use, however, is the fastest growing... That would be where the molybdenite would be used, but probably not in the quantities robip was hoping given that semi-conductor end-use is small portion of global silicon consumption.

Still exciting though, and good PR for moly... Breaking in to the semi-conductor industry would make moly much more prominent in global markets, and could allow for expoential growth in solar energy ... I'll take it.
