Re: Prod Butout/Share Price

Re: Prod Butout/Share PriceI am on board with arlene & his current calculations for potential sp.
However, we all focus TOO much on the share price of other buyouts instead of the purchase price for the asset.
GF mentioned Newmont buying Fronteer and it only being a 40% take... well that all depended upon how many outstanding shares Fronteer had and its current share price..on whether 40% was fair or not.
LOOK however at the purchase price of the asset:   Newmont PAID $2.3B for 4M oz measured & indicated plus 1M+oz inferred...that's give or take 5M oz of gold...resulting in $460 paid per asset ounce.  As arlene stated, there have been many other properties purchased at a higher $/oz price than this - I have given many in past posts.
Fronteer's assets are fairly equal to OJVG with two HUGE exceptions...OJVG is ALL in one locale/concession...NOT stretched over several properties/countries/etc... and the OJVG concession is still considered UNDER explored..great deal more potential.
If OJVG were purchased for the same $2.3B - which I believe to be low given its advantages - OLE would be $6.67 per share (43.5% with 150M outstand shares).
A buyout of 5M oz at $600/oz - results in $8.7; @ $750/oz, its $10.87
A buyout of 6M oz at $600/oz - results in $10.44; @ $750, its $13.05
Sell the Asset for the maximum value and the share price will work itself out...
It is a fair question though as to why OLE's value remains so undervalued when other JM's with less assets have a much higher valuation.
