What's the problem? This is great news! Why so much doom and gloom among some of you? The dividend suspension is exactly what 99% of us expected, and, undoubtedly, was the correct course of action by Laidlaw's management.
Secondly, their financial woes are lightened considerably with the bank's willingness to negotiate terms. Given these encouraging developments, the pessimism on this board is unbelievable! I am a much happier shareholder today than I have been since the SK fiasco was first revealed.
What is really astounding is the focus upon the dividend suspension, which some of the misguided shareholders believe to be an unexpected revelation with negative consequences - despite the fact that it is ultimately an exceedingly positive decision for all those invested in this company. Why focus on this aspect when the true revelation is the banks' willingness to compromise and support the efforts of the company? This is fabulous news!

I am now certain of some solid upward momentum for the next little while, barring any surprises of course. Hold on to your shares, fellow investors. There's much more value in this company than a meagre $1.72 per share, especially when much of the uncertainty has finally been removed.
Good night, and God bless.
