I wrote this yesterday..."Someone (Lions Gate and others) are going to "back" the stock to go IPO on the New York Stock Exchange. Without the backing, you can't do it, because you have to have someone who promises to float your boat for a given period of time.
LG, INT, and whomever else buys into the IPO.
WE as INT shareholders will get a special dividend from INT for the % of the stock that is reflected in the IPO.
And INT has hired the Corum Group to oversee everything, so that the process if fair.
Now, lets take a close look at this. Someone is willing to back the Newco for a move from the Vancouver Stock Exchange to the NASDAQ?... NO... from the Vancouver Stock Exchange to the New York Stock Exchange... name me one company that has done that... I don't know one.
Its like me (a middle aged man with a pocket full of change), getting a marriage proposal, from a 18 year old virgin Princess in a foreign land, AND all the backing of her Daddy's money!
Do you think that these people think that Ortsbo is worth something?... do you think these guys are going to do THAT for a 10 bagger?... I think not.
First thing I'm going to do after I click send for this message, is throw my mouse in the outhouse so I can't click on the sell button when this thing hits $5.00!"
As soon as I woke up this morning, it dawned on me why they want to do this in this manner. Lions Gate is actually IMHO, a big believer in Ortsbo, and they want to make sure that they get their value out of the stock if they are going to help take it to the NYSE. One way to ensure that , is to somewhat control the volitility by having the shares registered through INT. And we as INT holders still get the benefits of Ortsbo.
At least to begin with (likely during the time period that Lions Gate has to support the stock under their listing obligation), we will not own the Ortsbo stock directly, but it will be the same thing anyway. They LG get a little more stability and control over the stock to reduce their risks, and we in turn get the same, because it will artificially lock out the people whi like to make these kind of stocks swing wildly.
The more I think about this, the more I LIKE it!
Good fortune to all INT/Ortsbo longs! :)
