RE: RE: ipo fails and hrg to 1.00 BRAVO! SM, BRAVO! A question for the naysayers, In between patting yourselves on the back you should remember this. Severstal did not set out with the Idea of "Hey lets try our hand at the Au mining business, seeing as how successful our steel business is going We should take some of the capital and try our hand at goldmining" In the most literall sense of the scenario OAO Severstals future existence DEPENDS on raising alot of money quickly. The debt on the steelmakers books is enormous. The only chance for the steelmaker to stay in business, successfully is by raising the money through their Gold assets. Either Severstal shows the potential investors it can be trusted by promoting HRG, or It sells its Au assets. Take a guess which one of its Au assets is most valuable? Do you really think an Ego-maniac the likes of Alexei is going to risk his steel business by continuing on the present course. As disappointing as this has been It may likely be the best thing for the minorities, we are finally in a position where not only does logic dictate, Severstals future dictates either the promotion or sale of HRG. Its laughable, even in the article posted by rightval " Move dents hopes for Russian IPO comeback" We are given every excuse they can think of, volatility in the market, belief Au bullrun has peaked. Their is a saying "Truth hurts, but to be able to deal and overcome you have to deal with the truth" That is No one trust Severstal or Russian business ethics at that. Its been a rough couple of days for loyal longs, truth be told I should have kept more of my powder dry I don't think we'll see these prices again. As for the theft of Prognoz Severstal has been counseled by ccharlwood through his lawyer the repercussions Sev. will face if Prognoz ends up 100% owned by them by any ways/means. With potential investors haven already stalled the IPO through lack of trust how much more damage would a class action cause. Stay the course longs, UNITED WE ARE STANDING SO CLOSE TO THE REALIZATION OF THE TRUE VALUE OF OUR INVESTMENT
