This is very interesting.  For awhile I have said a Vale-Mag link just makes sense.  heck even in the game of Risk there is a dotted line connecting Africa and Brazil, and we know from Friday Mag is Risky!  I just emailed Knut this weekend past and asked if Vale has ever expressed interest, I see Vale as a white knight here.  He responded that several big companies interested in potash expansion have been in communication with Mag, but until something materialistic develops he could not name any specific names. 

I would not be surprised to see a JV with Vale.
