I would prefer to think that today really didn't register with Farhad really at all; hopefully for one or more of these reasons:

1) It's complicated information for the market to digest immediately, plus some are no doubt caught short (such as is possible on Canadian markets) are need some calm to turn around
2) Even the well published Dennis Gartman noted that Feb 14 is generally a dead day of trading
3) Farhad has more at stake than anyone here and likely more than Dundee or any other underwriter too. He can't possibly be living and dying by each tick or each day as CEO. He knows what he's got.

That's my take, FWIW.
