RE: manipulation

RE: manipulation

Hey Dino, My sincere appologies for the mix-up with the financing. No excuse, other than getting my wires crossed in a careless way. I am very familiar with the loan being through Investec, but for some reason I was thinking the hedge was separate from the loan. Thanks for clearing up my mistake for Perky.
You mentioned large shareholders. According to the Information circular in January that was mailed to shareholders, the largest shareholder is a guy named John Wheeler, who controls over 10,000,000 shares (roughly %12 of the company). Most of the shares are held indirectly, but he's in control of them. The info also states he has rights to another 4.3 million warrants. If you do believe things are purposely being held down, it should be comforting to see someone with a large vested interest in seeing this thing go higher. I'd be a lot more nervous if the holders are all small retail investors.
When I mentioned the faulty report that the purchase of the mine was based on, that comment came right out of the last conference call from Eadie himself. I still have a copy of the call saved if anyone wants it e-mailed.
Anyway, you're right that lift-off will happen at some point. The ducks have to be in a row sooner or later. I'm just hoping to have a little more time to accumulate, but guess I wouldn't be too upset to see this rise in the near term either.
Good luck to those who have stuck it out through this mess
