The assays released this past Thursday from drilling at Timmins Porcupine West (TPW) definitely got the attention of the market and for good reason.
While these results are not a glory hole per se, they do confirm in my opinion that we now have a legitimate high grade gold discovery at TPW. EXS will now add a second drill rig to more aggressively follow these high grade veins as we move in 50 meter increments towards the west and quickly build ounces.
This is a significant development as the risk of exploration failure has been greatly reduced and the market will now place its bets on the potential size of this resource.
In the next few days and weeks, big financial players will be getting the heads up on this situation and begin to take positions. These players typically don’t buy exploration stories until there has been a significant discovery, but these results show that more ounces are coming and things could start to happen very quickly.
The key now will be to follow up as soon as possible with the next round of assays and show the market that we can continue to bring these kinds of results or better. If and when EXS can show this, our share price will be a multiple higher in a heartbeat!
I became involved with Explor Resources because the company wanted to hunt for elephant deposits and I believed CEO Chris Dupont was the kind of guy that could successfully make that happen for us. As an investor of junior mining stocks, I like to put my money on situations where if things work out, there is going to be a very big payday.
Projects like Kidd Creek (high grade base metals) and TPW (high grade gold) have the potential for huge exploration success which could immediately attract the majors for a buyout and make investors a ton of money.
And in my opinion, after these latest results at Timmins Porcupine West, I believe we just got a VERY BIG CLUE that our payday may soon be at hand!
