Raoul Tsakok is involved in a private equity firm called Farmind Capital Group. They've been in the biz for nearly 30 years - looks to be run by the Tsakok family. It's based in Vancouver, BC.

Through their subsidiary Farmind Capital Link, they are involved in several mining companies - most appear to have interest in China. Below is a link of some of the news of the companies they are involved with. I haven't found specifics yet but will be digging deeper as time permits.

Some of the companies listed are:
1. Jinshan Mining which changed names to China Gold International which trades on the TSX-CGG - currently trading around $5.50 per share. (MARKET CAP OF OVER 2.2 BILLION!)
2. Spur Ventures - TSX-SVU. A potash company that has been on the rise lately - currently around
.55 per share.
3. Continental Minerals - TSX-KMK. Recently acquired by Jinchuan Group for $2.60 per share
These guys certainly have the skills to bring these startups to the big leaques. Hopefully they can do the same with Sterling. It's interesting to read through the news history, some of the links aren't any good, but the headlines give you the jist of the what happened over time. I noticed some of the same headlines are beginning to show up here - such as extension of warrants, etc. Could be a fun few months up ahead.
