Quebec Nat-Gas usageQuebec currently uses 500 billion cubic feet of nat-gas per year.Virtually all of it imported from western Canada.No way the Quebec governmant will let this resource in thier backyard sit undeveloped.Every province and municipality in Canada needs cash in these challenging economic times.Quebec will have to allow development to sustain current social benefits paid to residents.(Qpp,healthcare,education etc)
