RE: RE: Thank youThe minerals board mistakingly allowed Vinland to stake the property,... when in fact it was not up for staking.
That is what this is all about. Vinland says that the lands in question where not claimed by A.N.D., but Canstar (Phelps dodge) were exploring the property under the understanding that the lands were in fact claimed by A.N.D. This was something like a hundred years ago or something.... and the papers were lost or burnt in a fire or something...
However, would Phelps have explored the lands if they infact did not believe they were properly staked, part of the A.N.D.lands originally? I don't think so.
Vinland went to the minerals board, convinced some green-horn that the lands weren't staked (after looking at the cores in a shed in Buchans and KNOWING that the discovery was huge, as well as knowing the weaknesses of the minerals board, and took advantage of those weaknesses... just as he is taking advantage of the weaknesses in the legal system right now).
Where is the news... it must be close to 3 months by now...
Canstar was already awarded the property a couple of times by the courts... this latest appeal is on a 'point of law', or rather 5 points of law i think...
And the court asked for ALL of the points of law to be presented... so this should be it...
