Disingenuous nonsense TV.  Paladin technically owns the patent but it was licensed back.  Saying Paladin "owns" the molecule is like saying the Government of Canada "owns" all the hotels in Banff.  

 ISA can pretty much do what it wants with the molecule except that for certain indications in a couple of minor markets Paladin has the exclusive license.  The US, Europe, China markets are all “owned” by ISA.
