Jerry Hale

Jerry HaleI reserve the right to be wrong, but my guess is that Jerry Hale is the person who owns the land on BRX's main Alberta properties.  If this is correct, then Jerry Hale certainly brings something to the table.  If he had not signed an agreement with BRX then he may have signed with another company.  In other words: Jerry Hale is instrumental to BRX.  Jerry Hale is probably the person who controlled the rights to the resources and therefore he deserves a seat on the BoD.

Again, I could be wrong, but that is my 20,000-foot guess on what is happening.

His philanthropic activity is commendable as well, but that is a separate issue: he'll receive his just compensation in time and not from any of us.

All is well in the land of Brixton.  Let Mr. Saxon do what he has to do.  Anyone who's ever run a business knows that things take time and there are steps to take.  We all get impatient on these boards, but we need to remind ourselves that there are realities in business.  Miracles don't happen overnight, even if they appear that they were spontaneous.

I'm sure Jerry Hale is a hale and hearty fellow and I am happy to see him on the BoD.  And for all you bashers: no, I do not know any of these folks, other than talking to Richard Saxon on the phone; just a shareholder.

That said, management might be well-served to issue a NR once in a while to apprise investors and shareholders of the company's progress.  All is well.
