RE: G & K selling their positionsWhat is important here is the long term trend of gold and of the industry.  Gold remains strong, as do all commodities ex. NG.  The trend in the sector has been a lot of M&A activity.  Why would Kinross or Goldcorp make an offer during a mine/mill startup?  They'll let the mgmt team work through the issues, let the SP stagnate on no news, then make an offer if not someone else.  Only makes sense and I'm not on the board!
