RE: RE: RE: Question for Solver

RE: RE: RE: Question for Solver

DMS is not an assay, it is a process.  Assays (testing) are done after DMS processing (concentrating up the valuables in an ore body).

General circumstances are when an ore body is "scattered" throughout a lesser dense media such as limestone.

There may be a lot of value but spread out and too expensive to recover by regular means.

As an example:  One Nickel sulphide ore body I know of,  is dispersed throughout a limestone type body like tree roots.  It is uneconomical to just send the entire mixture to process.    It is mined and put through a DMS process (on site)  to recover the Nickel sulphide and seperate the limestone which is re-used for back fill.  This allows for only the heavier sulphide to be sent for further processing, cutting shipping and process costs and allowing economical metal recovery.

I suspect that may be what SXL/milling company (Xtrata?) has in mind for the Nash if metallurgy proves out.   Without hands on testing, I would not know which process they will select....whether a dense liquid float/sink or vortex/water or other.  It will be customized for the ore matrix.

One thing for sure is......... that if someone nearby wasn't interested in the Nash....... there would not be DMS testing at this stage of exploration.  IMO SXL must be getting close to some sort of an agreement to proceed with this testing.
