I hold both FRC.to and GFS.v. FRC.to has better numbers. They have been aggressively adding equipment faster than GFS.v. The key for GFS is if they can prove their claims that their process allows higher initial IP rates and allows wells to almost immediately create production and cashflow versus the 2 to 4 week wait to recover the frac water before commercial production can begin.
Also GFS may get legislative help. Since they use propane, there is no need for millions of gallons of water to be wasted and trucked into the site and then trucked out again after recovery. Also the water based fracs need chemicals added that are not necessary in the GFS process.
So medium term, GFS could become the preferred and possibly legislated approach to fracking.
Short term, there is a possibility of disappointing financials because of the fire caused interruption in January 2011.
