RE: Teck and 50,000According to this info, I would say it is about half that:
The Schaft Creek property consists of 12-contiguous claims staked in accordance
with British Columbia Energy Mines and Resources regulations. The claims encompass an
area totalling approximately 10,371-hectares. The deposit is situated on claims 514603 and
514637, straddling the south and north boundaries respectively. The above seems to agree with this other information I found:
955528 Alberta Ltd. entered into an option agreement in January of 2002 with Teck Cominco to
acquire up to 93.4% interest in the Schaft Creek copper-gold-molybdenum-silver deposit located
in the Liard District of northwestern British Columbia (Latitude: 130o 58’ 48.9”, Longitude: 57o
22’ 4.2”). 955528 Alberta Ltd. later merged with Copper Fox Metals Inc. in July of 2005. The
property comprises 12 mineral claims covering an area of 10,269.3 hectares and is in good
standing until 2015.
