VIKING5515 - SCHWANTZ - slow news day

VIKING5515 - SCHWANTZ - slow news dayViking - if you haven't noticed, the markets are closed today. Lighten up. This is my day off and I was obviously trying to enhance Schwantz's clever twist of prose. LAN is just a stock - a piece of paper with some inherent value. Greater powers affect its value. This bullboard is a great place to exchange ideas - but I didn't realize that some of you can be so gullible or is it insecure. We all want to make money on this one. This has been my strategy. This stock is now followed by the institutions. It's getting media coverage in various ways. Trading volumes have been strong. The fundamentals are well described elsewhere. Its long term chart suggests definite technical recovery and good price appreciation is to be expected over the next 6 - 9 months. I have a large core position. This I will be holding at least until the end of this year. Secondly, I have a trading position. I have been buying and selling 10,000 share blocks - holding usually less than a week. The exposure and volatility in LAN is just too easy to take advantage of right now. LAN is very news sensitive in case you haven't noticed. I also shorted the stock once when it gapped up one morning over 3.00 - very profitable trade. I believe in LAN for the long term. Excellent management - the right industry sector - cash in the bank to implement their new initiatives - the stock also trades OTC in the USA (guess where that might lead). LONG on LAN ...it's OK to have a little fun in your life - this investment stuff shouldn't be taken too seriously - think fundamentally and trade technically - good luck to all.
