The problem is who wants to get -their feet wet first. The SP will slide - not because investors dont want to get in - but through fear.
People see a big decline, step in too soon and get burned. After that everone sits on their hands waiting for a turnaround. Ergo no buyers - slide continues. At some point it will run its course - and when it does look for a rapid run up as everyone gets off the fence to dive in before they miss the train.
