PetroSa interested in buying gas from 1711

PetroSa interested in buying gas from 1711According to the 2010 annual report from PetroSa gas from 1711 could be exported to South Africa if
1711 would be declared as a commercial discovery:

Namibia-Licence Area 1711

"Block 1711 is a high-risk deep-water exploration area containing delineated prospects with a huge gas resource potential.
The attraction of the block to PetroSA was that if commercial gas quantities were to be discovered, the block could serve as a feedstock source for PetroSA’s GTL Refinery in Mossel Bay (through importation).PetroSA, with 10% participating interest in a joint venture with Sintezneftegas Namibia (70%) as the operator, drilled the Kunene-1 exploration well in Block 1711,
offshore Namibia, together with Energulf (10%), Namcor (7%) and Kunene (3%).The well intersected gas shows at two levels, but these were deemed uncommercial and the well was suspended. Plans to further evaluate the block  to determine further potential prospectivity are under way."
