RE: Dumb Question

RE: Dumb QuestionNot a dumb question.  Obviously current production is what they are producing at this moment.  Exit production is their forecast production to "exit" the year at (ie. Dec 31 2011).

From the most recent TOL press release: "TriOil’s current asset base and the 2011 capital program are expected to deliver average production of 1,900 to 2,050 boe per day and exit production of 2,300 to 2,500 boe per day for the year, net of the Non-Core Disposition. TriOil recently completed and brought on production 2 oil wells at Sweeney and recently completed a 100% oil well at Lochend that were carried over from our 2010 drilling program. Current production is estimated at approximately 1,250 boe per day, excluding the recently completed
Lochend Cardium well and net of the Non-Core Disposition."

Note that exit production is forecast to be almost twice as much as current production (100% growth).  For my model I assumed 2,400 boe/d exit.  Now it's up to management to deliver on their forecast.
