I predict great things for 2011. Opel has worked very hard in the last few years to perfect their technology. Currently they have projects that are feeding the grid. Many more projects are scheduled to start this year in Europe and the US. Opel will be unveiling an upgraded HCPV, predicting 20% more power generation. They will be showing this at the Solar Power International 2011 show in October.

IMO....Opel's HCPV's and tracking systems are a huge step ahead of First Solar's tech and this will be recognized with some large projects that are/will be built in the US and Europe.

This will be a good year for Opel, and Odis has proved to be something revolutionary.

First Solar might try to buy out Opel before they're left in the dust.

Odis will continue to develop POET and will be the first to market with a low cost Gallium Arsenide chip.
