RE: RE: RE: RE: China suspends approval of nuclear
RE: RE: RE: RE: China suspends approval of nuclearI agree, just pushed to a further date. The imediate crunch on supply and demand eases, and when the demand does pickup....the supply is more than enough though.
This game was allways going to be taking advantage of a shortage, with u308 spiking, then easing in the future.
no spike changes the game. If production keeps up...u308 is sub 50 forever. There is an infinite supply in the ground, it just needs to be mined. So let the supply demand race begin.
My take is that this accident shifts the timeline enough to ruin uuu's big plan prospects. (of hauling in big bucks for 3 years, while demand was higher than supply)
This is not about how bad japan gets....its about reaction to what has allready happened. japans plant leaking worldwide would not change things now anymore than if it gets halted at todays levels.
fact is a humongous capitol loss is occuring. That site is now not only worthless, it is a large liability. Cleanup and mothball costs. in the billions.....that is the real fear....being faced with those losses by going nuke. Not contaminating the world.
nuke power just became less cost effective...adding in these new costs for insurance, political clout for votes, and risk of an accident that mothballs a $$$ dollar plant.
risk pays though right? be extremely carefull buying on the downslide.....the up needs to be verified before you jump....its better to get on the train late...then to stand on the tracks and get run over on the way down.
