RE: RE: RE: A few interesting observations...PGDThank you for sharing that story with the Forum...I have been saying the almost the same things for over a year now, after haviing a number of discussions with Mr. Maher...An impportant point I,d like to add is that if they knew that a higher volume of lower grade Gold was there ,it would not have been economica at the then Gold price...
So one can blame golden goose for that...It was simply not the right time as far as costs...
I.d like to add that from I.ve learned, the entire Magino propertywas never properly mapped/drilled this new fiindings of fill in drill now underway, is compelling proof for that...I.m not sure uyou read my post yesterday, wherein I suggested yesterday that given these and other historical facts/factors, that there could be as many as 10 Million ounces of Gold most of which will be open pits, far cheaper to mine than conventional mines. Right now Magino has about 3 million ounces in total so far, most those resources are NI-43-101 compliant., with most of the claims at Magino and the new acquired claims by PDG, mostly open, with little or no Geological work being done, and certainly no drillig there...Safe to say that the said 3 Mill ounces, only takes up a fraction of the entire claims....
In my opinion one of the true strengths of PDG is it"s Team of Geologists, especially Mr. Maher...He knows that area very well indeed, he was talking to others who had proven reserves in the area, but he carefully studied Magino, and thru the past Goe work there, realized that abssolutely no in fill drilling was done...Of course one needed to have at leat a .20 oz tohave anything near economical,Gold has gone up from about $300 to now @$1400.00 plus...makes the world of difference economically. But as you and many others includiing myself say, the rich Gold is at the bottom...but I think the plan is to start an open pit, start mining, and keeping the profits to continue with a deeper underground mine for the v. high grades...As I have been sayingPDG is a long tern holding,
One very interesting point we had a guy post yesterday, that he thought or heard that Richmont mines was trying to buy Magino, as he claimed their ore is almost depleted in that area. BUT they were tooo late,, and Mr. Maher will never sell....Magino iss/will be the foundatiion for PDG in that area, , as they pick up more prospective claims in the regiion....I was usually not too patient with the Gold Jr. Explorers but as Mr. Maher stated on numrous occasions, PDG WAS an explorer, BUT no more soley an explorer.....A Very commited Gold miner starting with Magino...
Nice to have you on board...let"s hope and pray that we all end up filthy millionairs once everything is said and done...
