RE: Hydrogen from the pool exploded

RE: Hydrogen from the pool explodedWhen the zirc alloy is heated to 700 C, and water comes in contact with it.  Hydrogen is produced from the h2o.....

This hydrogen being formed is a sign that the fuel is in meltdown.  At atmospheric condition water boils at 100c, for it to get to hydrogen formation...it is basically dry and overheated.

The reason the workers can not go in, is because they know the hydrogen is being formed rapidly....and an explosion will kill them if near it.

Remember this is not 1 unit in trouble, it is 4, and fuel pools.  Fixing 1 has no impact on the others....any one of these fuel piles can go prompt critical and explode.

How this affects the market is really a different skill set.  However what IS hapening at this plant is extremely severe ...like it or not.  You decide how it will affect the market.  I know how it will affect the site as it sits now....this will be covered in concrete as soon as the timeline allows for it.  The situation has worsened every second getting worse, since it started.  Don't confuse this accident improving or worsening with the price of UUU....sure it will affect it, but anyone who buys UUU due to some kind of conspiracy theory of sky is falling....had better hope that the 2 are not related to much with UUU price.....BECAUSE this accident is near worst case scenario right now...and could become the worst case before it is over.

Ask any technical questions you need answered.  I am fully versed in all the details...not by following the news, but by being trained for 7 years to operate a nuclear unit as the main player in charge at the panel.  AND now teach the things that I learned.

I am in shock over some of the reasoning as to why this disaster is not that bad, or will not affect the future builds.  25 years ago we had a meltdown/fire....and it DID affect the nuclear program...immencely.
