RE: RE: sad day

RE: RE: sad dayYou know Antero, I've got to say, I  just re-read Hockybuds heartfelt posting on the board since I didn't give the first reading  the attention or the condolences that it deserved and that's not right. We're far to insulated in our own lives to feel the pain of others and a simple acknowledgement as you gave is the least one can do. I can remember to this day when my dad was on his death bed at the hospital. I stepped out to get a paper at the concession shop in the hospital and bumped into Don Cherry. He said hi and asked what I was doing there. I told him and he quickly asked me for some paper and wrote a message to my dad." Keep fighting, never give up, God bless...Grapes."
My dad loved it. To have one's baby in the same situation is an unbearable thought. Thanks Hockybud for sharing your pain and be strong for your friend.
