RE: RE: RE: Cost of a takeover by T.MAI of V.TNR?41% premium was paid for acquisition of comparable Antares properties, which sets a 'new benchmark' for valuation of TNR's disputed claims in LA, according to an October 2010 blog on sufiy.com.
Since then 5 drills have been aggressively drilling in LA with recent NRs of largely expanded and fully-compliant resources. Besides, that comparative premium does not take all of TNR into account, should there be a takeover. Premium would be far more.
However that source says takeover is probably not desirable by consensus on boards elsewhere, and from what I see probably not even necessary.
Interesting to note that unusual trading was reported in that article and from the past 2 days with mystery trades of 100K blocks, that trend continues.
Yahoo's Historical Prices link on the quote sidebar illustrates a lot of unusual volume and volatility in the past several months vs. 250K av. daily volume.
Today, we were up to >785K [>TRIPLE usual] with same price at open and close.
This generally adds up to speculation of good news coming as market forces take the opportunity to load up at deeply discounted prices. LA is valuable!
All to be expected with litigation pending and a settlement probably in the wings in the next short while.
Patience is required.
