RE: RE: U.S. nuclear industry sees new costs afterYes, Thorium also got my interest ... waaaay overbought though (e.g., V.RES) ... meanwhile China is 'dumping' their 'outdated' reactors to Pakistan ... if you view their interest in Thorium vis-a-vis their moves with Pakistan in context, it means what ???

Chinese authorities have already suspended approvals of new nuclear plants within the country because of safety concerns sparked by the disasters in Japan.

But when Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Jiang Yu was askedThursday about whether Beijing is similarly concerned about exportingoutdated nuclear technology to Pakistan, she dismissed it as unrelated.

Jiangsays there are no direct links to the two issues. She says the Chinesegovernment wants to see "orderly and reasonable" nuclear developmentin China, and is especially concerned about safety.

China to Sell Outdated Nuclear Reactors to Pakistan
