My incredible RIM success storyThere are so many people here who have done so well playing both ends of the RIM story that I thought I should add my own. To wit: I originally shorted RIM at $128.75, and bought back in at $48. Then, when RIM ran to the $80 range, I shorted it all the way back down to $50. Then I bought back in and rode it back up to $66.75. Then I shorted again at a nice profit. In the past couple of weeks, I rode RIM back up to the low-mid $60s, then shorted in yesterday just prior to earnings, netting me another six bucks today. I think I'll hold my short position – 120K shares – all the way down to the high $40s, at which point I'll go temporarily long, capitalizing on the uptick that the Playbook sales will likely bring into the summer. Then I'll go short again, run for the cottage on Lake Joe, and count my money as I pour yet another glass of bubbly. Bullboards are fun. aclcmc
