Royalty purchase

Royalty purchaseThis can only be seen as a positive event for the following reasons:

1) Despite all of the barbs, jabs and abuse we give the good Dr. Robinson, most of us would not be here if we thought that he really acted in any way that was not in the best interest of ER and the SH.

2) He appears to be rather thrifty, so he would not ante up more money than he thought the royalty was worth, and he has the numbers (43-101 compliant or not) and best assumptions to do the calculation.

3) While a deal could be struck with Soquem holding their royalty, the purchase sanitizes the deal making process.

4) If the probability of a deal was not imminent, it is doubtful that he would have made the move at this time, although it is possible that Soquem had a need (oil/gas development?) to cut the deal at this time, and Dr.  Don seized the opportunity.

We shall see, but I like the deal. GLTA

Respectfully,
