NewsThis is not as bad as it appears.
- Acid Stim performed, they flowed the well and had a gas leak on surface. Happens more than you think!
- Have to perform well kill to snub the well to fix the problem using heavy SG fluid in this cause Drill Mud. The whole idea is to KILL THE WELL! as a result flow rates decreased. This can either flow clean or run back in hole and perform another acid stim. If there was no surface leak there would not be an issue!!!!!!
- Perforating guns are a lil confusing to me, all i can think is they are calling the first zone completed and they moved on to the next one, they RIH (Ran In Hole) and set a bridge plug and perforated the next zone this is all i can get outta the NR. As for the "Faulty" guns, you cant tell if all shots are fired till you get back to surface! You can go off of feeling on the wellhead, pressure spikes or dips, E-line has switches that say if they fired or not. Nothing is certain till tools are on surface and visualy inspected.
- As for people guessing they cemented the zone and reperfed this is highly unlikely! There was no reason to cement the zone and reshoot they had excellent rates.
This NR would have been an entirely different story if there was not a surface leak! Everyone would be laughing but it is not the case and there is no reason this will not get back on track.
THE ENTIRETY OFF THIS PROBLEM IS FROM THE SURFACE LEAK WHICH FORCED THEM TO KILL THE WELL!
