RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: Could the real Haida pleasIf Naikun proceeding is in the Haida Gwai's best interests (and thank you Cardinal for always having the best interests of the Haida Gwai at the forefront of your investment concerns here) then the best way forward must be obviously to keep the HaidaGwai wards of the court (as traditionally FN people were treated) so that WE  who know better can do THEM  some good (the new Green patriarchy - we are saving the world so get out of the way!)
If however you want the project to proceed with less acrimony (or at all if the acrimony level goes too high) then FN people need to be consulted respectfully - which sometimes entails not calling people with different value systems than your own stupid or presuming you know their needs better than they do.
FYI I won shares in Naikun, holding for the long, and believe it is a good project. But I would rather take a loss than foist it down the throats of people who live miles away from where I sit. Sorry but if the price for proceeding with Naikun is to stand with patriarchal BS in this day and age then, as someone who has worked with FN in developments in the past, I'm not buying it.
