March 29, 2011, Vancouver BritishColumbia: Trijet Mining Corp. (TSX.V: TJT, TRJTF.PK) announcesthat five diamond drill-holes have been completed at the Letourneur goldproject in western Quebec. The Letourneur project is located in the prolific gold producing Abitibi regionof southwestern Quebec, 41 km north ofRouyn-Noranda, in the regional municipalityof Taschereau and iswithin 20km ENE of the Osisko-Clifton Star's Duparquet project and 20km northof Exploration Typhoon's LaFayolle project.
The Phase II drill program undertaken in March 2011 consists of 4,000 metersof drill-core. The first 14 holes are aligned parallel to and situated on thenorthern side of the LoisLake fault which definesa structural boundary between the mafic tholeiitic and felsic calco-alcalinevolcanic assemblages of the Hunter Mine Group. The fault extends along anENE-WSW direction for 3.3 kilometers. Preliminary results from the first 5holes reveal a favorable geological context and structures susceptible ofcontaining gold mineralization. Several intersections expose numerousstockwerks, veins and veinlets of quartz-carbonate in pyritized wallrockcomposed of tholeiitic basalt, intermediate tuff, detrital and chemicalsediment (jaspillite). The rocks are crushed, deformed and highly altered(silicification, hematization, sericitization, chloritization) within the LakeLois Fault Zone. Fuschite, a chromian green mica commonly found in alterationzones associated with gold mineralization, was observed in the core. Assayresults for gold are pending and should be obtained within the next two weeks.
