Tungsten

TungstenHere's an excerpt from the CEO of Malaga (MLG), one of my larger holdings.  Let's get this property defined and sell it to someone.  The Chinese?  Who cares?

Tungsten Supply and Demand

Current market conditions havedemand for tungsten growing with no new significant production capacityincreases outside of China envisioned before at least 2014. The APTprice has risen 115% since the beginning of 2010, from US $185 in 2010to nearly US $400 today. The Company believes that market prices willremain strong because market demand currently exceeds productioncapacity. Demand is also growing as there is presently no replacementproduct for tungsten in the market. Finally, tungsten is one of 14critical raw materials for the European Union, according to a EuropeanCommission report published in June 2010, which reinforces the notion ofa strategic metal and the supply risk.
