RE: Financials on the 30th

RE: Financials on the 30thAnnouncing financial results "at night" is not done to try to gloss over "a disaster of a quarter." IVW trades on the TSX in Toronto and there are exchange rules governing the issuing of information that could affect the share price. IVW announced well in advance that it would present these results after the TSX market closed yesterday. Their alternative, if the market was open, would be to go through a process of asking for a trading halt in IVW shares while the news was released and then asking for a resumption after the fact. Any analyst who is interested in the stock has a few months now to look at the numbers and possibly come up with the theory that the company's costs are getting out of line. IVW could not avoid that kind of scrutiny by putting out numbers during the night in hopes that the investment world would sleep through the event and allow the company to put something past them.
