Why AAB?

Why AAB?Ever wonder if there is something very unique about a stock that you hold in your personal portfolio?
I did.  And that stock was AAB.
Based on the stock filter at globeinvestor.com I wanted to know how many precious metals stocks (common shares) trading under $1.00 (in Canada) paid a dividend. You guessed it. Only one : AAB.
I then expanded the search to all precious metal's common shares in Canada trading under $100.
Much to my surprise, the yield on AAB placed it number one.

Well, I now feel much better after this week of less than ideal trading ranges.

I have two thoughts on the trading ranges. First it might have been an institution that participated in an AAB stock issue whose mandatory hold period had expired. Second, perhaps an original warrant holder decided to exercise their warrants at a profit and dump them unto the market.
Anyone know if either of these scenarios is plausable.

Voluntary Disclosure: hold both AAB and AAB.WT, purchased additional AAB this week at prices under 87 cents.
