RE: RE: RE: RE: Insider selling - Mar. 28 (KAM)Harmony, thank you for your reply. Lots of questions but I will summarize. Re: issue/concern? I find it strange with the outstanding results the company has had to date that insiders would be selling right before the current spring/summer drilling program. (See more information relating to insider selling below). This does spook me a little. Did I sell - NO. Do I trust the management team? I trust no one. Re: other due diligence? I had been away for a while and missed reading the Northern Miner a publication I have received for over 25 years. I found ATAC and started to do some research until finally finding KAM. I took the drilling information including drill maps etc. to a friend of mine who is an engineer and a securities lawyer. We took a look at the results and other information and felt it was worth a punt even at the mid three dollar range. I am not going to list everything in terms of due diligence but I did what all of you probably do by looking at the shares outstanding, average daily volume, access to the property, infrastructure, news releases, googling the management of the company to see if negative comments came up, insider selling, reading every post on every KAM bulletin board for independent information i.e. research reports, newspaper articles etc., etc. My main reason to buy was the drilling information. Re: Calling the company? No I did not and don't plan to call the company regarding insider selling. I make all my decisions based upon third party information unless the company hardly issues any news i.e. NUS.T. I also think KAM has the potential to be a $10 dollar stock or higher based upon the current drilling results and the consistency of the soil samples and the lack of glacial activity on the property. (Congrats to you buying at .35 cents probably before anything had been drilled on the property). Lets take a quick look at the insider activity. First I am using investorpoint.com in addition to targeted.ca and again according to the KAM NR of March 7 drilling activity should begin in April. I am not going to list every trade as there are too many to list! I have no objection to insiders making a reasonable profit on stock (including sales in other public firms that are part of the KAM group) but I do find it strange that after making reasonable profits there would be selling RIGHT BEFORE THE CURRENT DRILLING SEASON. In short, R Carpenter has been in and out of the market and from what I can figure he has taken out plenty of cash over $1,500,000 but he does still hold stock. J Williamson same. JR Patterson same. Others same. Point again is I find it strange to be sellers RIGHT BEFORE THE CURRENT DRILLING PROGRAM for an issue with fantastic potential. Finally, RE: KAM taken out ...? I believe they may have between 1-3 million oz's so far with only 10% of the property tested so far. But ... who knows what is next good or bad? I still think the insider posts on this board are valuable and I think the amount of insider activity compared to other stocks I hold is high!!! I am looking to buy again on weakness. Good luck.
