Maybe you should ask your buddy for his source of information.
The news release didn't say "very soon"...it said "soon as possible" - and - who knows when it will be possible.
Based on their most recent financials I would have to say that drilling may be later rather than sooner.
I think the only reason for this stock to move in the near term will be a continuing upward movement in the price of gold.
It will get swept along like many other gold stocks...
