RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: MUDLet's try to look at the bright side here:
1) It is a voluntary stopage. Nobody forced them to cease operations/transportation.
2) It is likely that the source of the problem is a leftover/legacy from before the new processes were put in place,
3) There is no harm/risk to people or the environment,
4) The company was up-front and honest about the problem,
5) Significantly expanded reserve estimates and expanded mine greatly increase value of company and long term viability,
6) The longer that Magellan operates the more efficient/safe/compliant/profitable it will be,
7) Good quarter in Q4, showed that company can be profitable despite compliance requirements,
8) PB price is continuing to trend higher. At $1.26 or better this is great news for IVW.
The most likely scenario here is that Magellan will resume operations, just a matter of when.
We should be able to handle a month or less stoppage without significant long-term damage to the company.
If this gets resolved relatively quickly then we should be fine in the longer term.
Savvy investors with an appetite for risk might pick up a few shares at 32 cents and make a nice 50% return on investment when mining resumes in late April.
Just trying to look on the bright side....
