Bashers / ShortersLooking at the short position at March 31st, I noticed that the outstanding short position increased by 510,445 shares between March 16th and March 31st. If one looks at the daily share highs and lows during that period one will notice that the from the 16th to the 30th the highest price the stock reached was 53-cents on March 30th, whereas the low was 41-cents on the 23rd. If our shorters were lucky enough to short INT on the last day of the month, March 31st, they could have sold at 67-cents.
If they sold between the 16th and 30th and at the high of 53-cents they would have realized $270,535.85 - BUT, they would have been in a margin call position on the 31st because the stock's low on that was 56-cents and they would be responsible for the $15,313.35 shortfall. As the lowest the stock has been since April 1st is 62-cents - they are now in panic mode as the price is going against their position. With yesterday's close of 79-cents, that shortfall would be $132,715.70 and climbing the longer they don't cover.
Even if our shorter was lucky enough to sell on the 31st at the high of 67-cents theywould have realized $341,998.15 thelowest the stock has been since April 1st is 62-cents on the 4th. If they didn't cover on that day for their 5-cent windfall gain of $ 25,522.25 - they are now inpanic mode as the price is going against their position. Withyesterday's close of 79-cents, that shortfall would be $86,775.65 andclimbing the longer they don't cover and the share price keeps rising.
Is it just coincidence that they are here with their non-stop bashing?
