interestingOn April 4, a number of Golden Minerals insiders sold a portion of their common stock. (Go to AUM website to see:

April 6 we get a news release saying that the company is delaying release of its economic assessment to account for the new structures they discovered.
So the question is: Why were insiders selling? My guess is that even though long-term, the newly discovered structures are bullish, management thought the market would not take kindly to the delay of the economic assessment and thought there would be a sell off.
BUT it appears they were wrong. The stock price has remained steady and the chart looks quite bullish. Also, t
he day after they sold their shares, gold broke though key resistance to the upside, making both gold and silver look even more bullish for the near future. Remember, business owners are not investors and don't always read the market correctly.
Another possibility is if some terrible news is about to be released. But I don't see that happening. We have plenty of cash and every news release we find more and more silver.
Another possibility is that they wanted to buy a new house or pay their kids tuition. But I don't think that's it because it wasn't just one doing it - it was three or four insiders all selling at the same time.
Thoughts anyone
