RE: not fair!Hi jjeeryy, I noticed that a few weeks ago on a trade I had made on another stock.  My sell had gone through at a higher price than what was showing as the current share price for that particular stock.  It was fairly easy for me to see as there was only one or two trades up until the time mine was filled.
I think it may be the MMs holding trades and trying to paint the tape at the end of the day to either show a gain or loss for the day depending on which way they want the share price to appear to be going.
