RE: Powering Now Applications

RE: Powering Now ApplicationsI was looking for more information on their cell stack but didn't see anything. Still, it's a company I haven't heard of and it's good to know there are more people out there than just Prudent. I've tried to get in contact with Prudent and heard nothing back/wasn't able to connect to anybody so I'm not so confident that they're doing much business.

Another potential application I was reading about this weekend is using VO2 as a window coating. I don't know much about it or viability but the idea is that the transmittance of infrared light changes with temperature, blocking more at higher temperatures and allowing it to pass at lower temperatures. They are playing with the chemistry to see if they can move that transition point to around 15 Celsius. Then your house/building would reflect the sun's heat on warm days and absorb it on cool ones.
