Geomega Resources Inc V.GMA

Alternate Symbol(s):  GOMRF

Geomega Resources Inc. is a mineral exploration and evaluation company focused on the discovery and sustainable development of economic deposits of metals in Quebec. The Company is a developer of clean technologies for the mining, refining, and recycling of rare earths and other critical materials. Through its wholly owned subsidiary Innord Inc. (Innord), the Company is developing innovative technologies for extraction and separation of rare earth elements and other critical and strategic metals from its mining properties and other mining and industrial waste in an environmentally sustainable way. With a focus on renewable energies, vehicle electrification, automation and reduction in energy usage, rare earth magnets or neo-magnets (NdFeB) are at the center of all these technologies. The two most advanced projects for the Company are the rare earth magnet recycling and bauxite residue processing and vaporization. It also owns the Montviel rare earth carbonatite deposit.

The 2010 drill program produced a total of 3,770 metres of core from 18 diamond drill holes.
The 2009 drilling program yielded 2,840 metres of core from 27 diamond drill holes.

In a previous press release (Feb. 26, 2009), Ucore identified an interval of 6.3 metres averaging 3.62% HREE and 0.26% LREE (Hole LMO8-32; HREE’s deemed to include yttrium). This converts to 4.69% Total Rare Earth Oxide (TREO). The Heavy Rare Earth Oxide (HREO) component of this total is an impressive 95.4%.

Further analysis of this zone has now identified a subset measuring a significant 11.48% TREO over 2.52 metres (106.92 – 109.44 m). This concentration of rare earths is comprised of 10.85% HREO with 7.31% Y2 O3, and 0.63% LREO.
GWG > Steenkampskraal Mine South Africa [First exploration program launched on February 23, 2011 > Therefore, no current drill data. (only historical drill data)]
Minerals present in the ore body include the monazite, which is a rare earth phosphate, quartz, apatite and magnetite with small amounts of zircon, pyrite, chalcopyrite, galena and ilmenite. The monazite is the source of the rare earths. At an average in situ grade of 17% Total Rare Earth Oxide (“TREO”), Steenkampskraal remains the highest grade rare earth deposit in the world. The other economic mineral in the ore is chalcopyrite, which results in the ore averaging 0.8% copper and 0.5 grams of gold per ton.

The monazite-bearing ore body is tabular in shape with an undulating form and a thickness varying from 30 cm to 90 cm. The strike is mainly east to west and the lode has a strike length of 400 m. The lode dips to the south and has only been traced down dip for a distance of 250 m with limited exploration. The angle of the dip is mainly between 20° and 30°, although there are areas where the ore body is nearly horizontal and other areas where the dip exceeds 60°.

RES > Bear Lodge REE property in northeastern Wyoming, USA
> REE mineral trend potentially 5000 feet long from Bull Hill to Carbon
> US Geological Survey(2): Bear Lodge contains “one of the largest occurrences of disseminated (low-grade) rare earths in North America” plus high-grade zones; USBM historic resource estimate
> Updated NI 43-101 inferred mineral resources of 17.5 mm tons @ 3.46% REO(1) including 7.2 mm tons @ 5.42% REO; based on 46 holes drilled by Rare Element, Hecla, Molycorp, Duval; excellent exploration potential
> Currently exploring for oxidized REE mineralization within the Bull Hill carbonatites; inferred oxide resources of 8.0 mm tons @ 3.62% REO which includes 3.3 mm tons @ 5.84% REO within 500 ft of surface
