mkvDon't take any crap from any of these clowns. They can't stand anything that interferes with the Good Ship Lollipop Happy Hour.
The best place to get your information on major holdings of a stock is on
www.Sedi.ca. This is the official repository of insider information. Canadian Insider simply gets it's information from the official filings on Sedi. The other sources of information like CNBC that you referenced, or Yahoo, probably don't have the resources or desire to keep info on companies like Slam updated in a timely fashion. It's better to get it straight from the official source.
It's a database, and is a little bit picky on how you select the data, but with a little practice you can master it. Just remember that if you ask for data from 2010 and 2011, and an insider had transactions in 2009 only and still has holdings, those holdings won't show with the 2010-11 data. It's best to be thorough in doing your research, some of the management insiders are not day traders with their own stocks and do hold for the long haul.
To the Good Ship Lollipop Happy Hour crew:
Paragraphs 2 and 3 were a possible approach you COULD have taken to POLITELY explain to someone requesting help with information where he/she could have gotten an answer to their question. Give it try sometime.
