It's sounds like not many of you have ever run a business before....especially one as complicated as a Gold Mining operation. Between the regulatory bodies and the environmental regulation and labor issues and capital requirements it's a very unpredictable environment. Finding gold is NOT shooting fish in a barrel. I think Chris has done a great job bringing this project to the actual production stage. I realize that not every projection has been right on target but the company is getting there.  In hindsight, the large upward change in the gold price will in fact be beneficial to the company in the long run and in time this difficult "birth" of the company will be an old memory.
